Kato Kancho (world IJKA Chief Instructor)will be at the Blackpool and Wyre Dojo this coming Thursday. A training course will take place for all grades from 7pm, which will follow with Kyu grade examination.
Since Kato Kancho's last visit at the end of May, where several Karateka at the club took their next Dan grade examinations, the Kyu grades have been working hard to reach examination standard.
Club Chief Instructor Ron Bellwood has been pushing the envelope with Kyu grades, as Kato Kancho expects the very best in standard and equally, spirit.
If you are grading, do not forget the new style IJKA Passport style licence, grading fee, course fee and your normal YMCA entry fee.
After the session, there is likely to be some form of refreshment at a local restaurant or pub.
