Karateka successes

Last night saw a tough grading for five karateka taking examination at Blackpool and Wyre Karate Ryu's dojo in 27 degree heat.

The evening consisted of a tough one hour course focusing on examination techniques which was followed by examination under the IJKA syllabus.

One interesting part was that two karateka set off af the same time having been asked to perform different katas together. This meant that both karateka had to confidently know all Heian katas and then one was picked at random!!

All five passed their grading and deservedly so. 

Well done as the examination is always hard and the temperature on the night was very hot indeed.
